Op de grote stille heide

<p>Bad Bevensen op de Lünenburger Heide</p><p><br></p><p>Dinsdag, 21 mei 2024</p><p><br></p><p>“Ga nooit met vreemde mannen mee” en “Neem geen snoep aan van een onbekende” Wie heeft dit als kind niet tot in den treuren moeten aanhoren! Uiteraard was deze didactische en morele waarschuwing goed bedoeld van mijn ouders, want zij werden gewezen op de consequenties als er niet goed op de kinderen werd gepast: een vermaning die er niet om loog. Dan werd er gerefereerd aan de sage van de rattenvanger van Hamelen waarin een grote groep kinderen uit de Duitse stad Hameln werd weggelokt door een demonische fluitspeler met duivelse trekjes en liet verdrinken in de rivier de Weser. Dat krijg je er nu van als je de kinderen even uit het oog verliest! Met het feit dat de goede man wraak nam op de burgemeester omdat die zijn financiële afspraken niet nakwam voor het verjagen van de ratten in het stadje, krijgt het verhaal weer een geheel andere lading. Ik maak een tussenstop in Hamelen, gelegen aan de Duitse sprookjesroute en ontdek dat de vertelling daar nog springlevend zijn. Talloze versies van het verhaal doen er de ronde, variërend van een Kinderkruistocht tot herinneringen aan een pestepidemie, van kolonisatie tot cybersecurity.</p><p>En ook de ratten zijn weer terug. Volop, in alle soorten en maten: van pluche en keramiek, van chocola of gebrandschilderd in de kerk, als een ware toeristische rattenplaag. Ik zoek de stilte van de Bungelosenstraße, een straat die altijd stil zal blijven. De trom (die Bunge) zal niet meer worden geroerd omdat de kinderen door deze straat werden ontvoerd. Ook vergaap ik mij aan de mooie renaissancehuizen, zo typerend voor dit Weserbergland. Bloei en rijkdom door de graanhandel, maar dus ook ratten, veel ratten…</p><p>Een kort bezoekje aan Hameln dit keer, want de eindbestemming vandaag ligt verder naar het oosten, op de Lünenburger Heide, het kuuroord Bad Bevensen. Hotel-Pension Fortuna, het Salzhotel. Ik was er eerder, in de herfst van 2019. De ontvangst was allerhartelijkst, de kamer voelt vertrouwd. Ik kijk uit op de tuin met honderd kleuren groen en vogelconcerten in de bomen. Ook hier in Bad Bevensen veel karakteristieke huizen van donkerbruin vakwerk ingelegd met rode bakstenen. Er valt de komende dagen veel te ontdekken hier rond de heide, zaken die in 2019 zijn blijven liggen. Hier in Fortuna ga ik nog een keer voor mijn meditatief moment in de zoutgrot, languit liggend in de zoute dampen, verkwikkend en heilzaam. De wanden zijn van echte zoutkristallen, ondanks dat die kitscherig zijn uitgelicht. Ik heb eraan gelikt…</p><p>En dan langzaam wordt het stiller en stiller. De lucht is dichtgetrokken, opkomend onweer heeft de vogels het zwijgen opgelegd. De bomen staan nog roerloos, alles is in afwachting van wat komen gaat.</p>

<p>Bad Bevensen op de Lünenburger Heide</p><p><br></p><p>Dinsdag, 21 mei 2024</p><p><br></p><p>“Ga nooit met vreemde mannen mee” en “Neem geen snoep aan van een onbekende” Wie heeft dit als kind niet tot in den treuren moeten aanhoren! Uiteraard was deze didactische en morele waarschuwing goed bedoeld van mijn ouders, want zij werden gewezen op de consequenties als er niet goed op de kinderen werd gepast: een vermaning die er niet om loog. Dan werd er gerefereerd aan de sage van de rattenvanger van Hamelen waarin een grote groep kinderen uit de Duitse stad Hameln werd weggelokt door een demonische fluitspeler met duivelse trekjes en liet verdrinken in de rivier de Weser. Dat krijg je er nu van als je de kinderen even uit het oog verliest! Met het feit dat de goede man wraak nam op de burgemeester omdat die zijn financiële afspraken niet nakwam voor het verjagen van de ratten in het stadje, krijgt het verhaal weer een geheel andere lading. Ik maak een tussenstop in Hamelen, gelegen aan de Duitse sprookjesroute en ontdek dat de vertelling daar nog springlevend zijn. Talloze versies van het verhaal doen er de ronde, variërend van een Kinderkruistocht tot herinneringen aan een pestepidemie, van kolonisatie tot cybersecurity.</p><p>En ook de ratten zijn weer terug. Volop, in alle soorten en maten: van pluche en keramiek, van chocola of gebrandschilderd in de kerk, als een ware toeristische rattenplaag. Ik zoek de stilte van de Bungelosenstraße, een straat die altijd stil zal blijven. De trom (die Bunge) zal niet meer worden geroerd omdat de kinderen door deze straat werden ontvoerd. Ook vergaap ik mij aan de mooie renaissancehuizen, zo typerend voor dit Weserbergland. Bloei en rijkdom door de graanhandel, maar dus ook ratten, veel ratten…</p><p>Een kort bezoekje aan Hameln dit keer, want de eindbestemming vandaag ligt verder naar het oosten, op de Lünenburger Heide, het kuuroord Bad Bevensen. Hotel-Pension Fortuna, het Salzhotel. Ik was er eerder, in de herfst van 2019. De ontvangst was allerhartelijkst, de kamer voelt vertrouwd. Ik kijk uit op de tuin met honderd kleuren groen en vogelconcerten in de bomen. Ook hier in Bad Bevensen veel karakteristieke huizen van donkerbruin vakwerk ingelegd met rode bakstenen. Er valt de komende dagen veel te ontdekken hier rond de heide, zaken die in 2019 zijn blijven liggen. Hier in Fortuna ga ik nog een keer voor mijn meditatief moment in de zoutgrot, languit liggend in de zoute dampen, verkwikkend en heilzaam. De wanden zijn van echte zoutkristallen, ondanks dat die kitscherig zijn uitgelicht. Ik heb eraan gelikt…</p><p>En dan langzaam wordt het stiller en stiller. De lucht is dichtgetrokken, opkomend onweer heeft de vogels het zwijgen opgelegd. De bomen staan nog roerloos, alles is in afwachting van wat komen gaat.</p>

<p>Bad Bevensen op de Lünenburger Heide</p><p><br></p><p>Dinsdag, 21 mei 2024</p><p><br></p><p>“Ga nooit met vreemde mannen mee” en “Neem geen snoep aan van een onbekende” Wie heeft dit als kind niet tot in den treuren moeten aanhoren! Uiteraard was deze didactische en morele waarschuwing goed bedoeld van mijn ouders, want zij werden gewezen op de consequenties als er niet goed op de kinderen werd gepast: een vermaning die er niet om loog. Dan werd er gerefereerd aan de sage van de rattenvanger van Hamelen waarin een grote groep kinderen uit de Duitse stad Hameln werd weggelokt door een demonische fluitspeler met duivelse trekjes en liet verdrinken in de rivier de Weser. Dat krijg je er nu van als je de kinderen even uit het oog verliest! Met het feit dat de goede man wraak nam op de burgemeester omdat die zijn financiële afspraken niet nakwam voor het verjagen van de ratten in het stadje, krijgt het verhaal weer een geheel andere lading. Ik maak een tussenstop in Hamelen, gelegen aan de Duitse sprookjesroute en ontdek dat de vertelling daar nog springlevend zijn. Talloze versies van het verhaal doen er de ronde, variërend van een Kinderkruistocht tot herinneringen aan een pestepidemie, van kolonisatie tot cybersecurity.</p><p>En ook de ratten zijn weer terug. Volop, in alle soorten en maten: van pluche en keramiek, van chocola of gebrandschilderd in de kerk, als een ware toeristische rattenplaag. Ik zoek de stilte van de Bungelosenstraße, een straat die altijd stil zal blijven. De trom (die Bunge) zal niet meer worden geroerd omdat de kinderen door deze straat werden ontvoerd. Ook vergaap ik mij aan de mooie renaissancehuizen, zo typerend voor dit Weserbergland. Bloei en rijkdom door de graanhandel, maar dus ook ratten, veel ratten…</p><p>Een kort bezoekje aan Hameln dit keer, want de eindbestemming vandaag ligt verder naar het oosten, op de Lünenburger Heide, het kuuroord Bad Bevensen. Hotel-Pension Fortuna, het Salzhotel. Ik was er eerder, in de herfst van 2019. De ontvangst was allerhartelijkst, de kamer voelt vertrouwd. Ik kijk uit op de tuin met honderd kleuren groen en vogelconcerten in de bomen. Ook hier in Bad Bevensen veel karakteristieke huizen van donkerbruin vakwerk ingelegd met rode bakstenen. Er valt de komende dagen veel te ontdekken hier rond de heide, zaken die in 2019 zijn blijven liggen. Hier in Fortuna ga ik nog een keer voor mijn meditatief moment in de zoutgrot, languit liggend in de zoute dampen, verkwikkend en heilzaam. De wanden zijn van echte zoutkristallen, ondanks dat die kitscherig zijn uitgelicht. Ik heb eraan gelikt…</p><p>En dan langzaam wordt het stiller en stiller. De lucht is dichtgetrokken, opkomend onweer heeft de vogels het zwijgen opgelegd. De bomen staan nog roerloos, alles is in afwachting van wat komen gaat.</p>

Op de grote stille heide

<p>Bad Bevensen op de Lünenburger Heide</p><p><br></p><p>Dinsdag, 21 mei 2024</p><p><br></p><p>“Ga nooit met vreemde mannen mee” en “Neem geen snoep aan van een onbekende” Wie heeft dit als kind niet tot in den treuren moeten aanhoren! Uiteraard was deze didactische en morele waarschuwing goed bedoeld van mijn ouders, want zij werden gewezen op de consequenties als er niet goed op de kinderen werd gepast: een vermaning die er niet om loog. Dan werd er gerefereerd aan de sage van de rattenvanger van Hamelen waarin een grote groep kinderen uit de Duitse stad Hameln werd weggelokt door een demonische fluitspeler met duivelse trekjes en liet verdrinken in de rivier de Weser. Dat krijg je er nu van als je de kinderen even uit het oog verliest! Met het feit dat de goede man wraak nam op de burgemeester omdat die zijn financiële afspraken niet nakwam voor het verjagen van de ratten in het stadje, krijgt het verhaal weer een geheel andere lading. Ik maak een tussenstop in Hamelen, gelegen aan de Duitse sprookjesroute en ontdek dat de vertelling daar nog springlevend zijn. Talloze versies van het verhaal doen er de ronde, variërend van een Kinderkruistocht tot herinneringen aan een pestepidemie, van kolonisatie tot cybersecurity.</p><p>En ook de ratten zijn weer terug. Volop, in alle soorten en maten: van pluche en keramiek, van chocola of gebrandschilderd in de kerk, als een ware toeristische rattenplaag. Ik zoek de stilte van de Bungelosenstraße, een straat die altijd stil zal blijven. De trom (die Bunge) zal niet meer worden geroerd omdat de kinderen door deze straat werden ontvoerd. Ook vergaap ik mij aan de mooie renaissancehuizen, zo typerend voor dit Weserbergland. Bloei en rijkdom door de graanhandel, maar dus ook ratten, veel ratten…</p><p>Een kort bezoekje aan Hameln dit keer, want de eindbestemming vandaag ligt verder naar het oosten, op de Lünenburger Heide, het kuuroord Bad Bevensen. Hotel-Pension Fortuna, het Salzhotel. Ik was er eerder, in de herfst van 2019. De ontvangst was allerhartelijkst, de kamer voelt vertrouwd. Ik kijk uit op de tuin met honderd kleuren groen en vogelconcerten in de bomen. Ook hier in Bad Bevensen veel karakteristieke huizen van donkerbruin vakwerk ingelegd met rode bakstenen. Er valt de komende dagen veel te ontdekken hier rond de heide, zaken die in 2019 zijn blijven liggen. Hier in Fortuna ga ik nog een keer voor mijn meditatief moment in de zoutgrot, languit liggend in de zoute dampen, verkwikkend en heilzaam. De wanden zijn van echte zoutkristallen, ondanks dat die kitscherig zijn uitgelicht. Ik heb eraan gelikt…</p><p>En dan langzaam wordt het stiller en stiller. De lucht is dichtgetrokken, opkomend onweer heeft de vogels het zwijgen opgelegd. De bomen staan nog roerloos, alles is in afwachting van wat komen gaat.</p>

“Ga nooit met vreemde mannen mee” en “Neem geen snoep aan van een onbekende” Wie heeft dit als kind niet tot in den treuren moeten aanhoren! Uiteraard was deze didactische en morele waarschuwing goed bedoeld van mijn ouders, want zij werden gewezen op de consequenties als er niet goed op de kinderen werd gepast: een vermaning die er niet om loog. Dan werd er gerefereerd aan de sage van de rattenvanger van Hamelen waarin een grote groep kinderen uit de Duitse stad Hameln werd weggelokt door een demonische fluitspeler met duivelse trekjes en liet verdrinken in de rivier de Weser. Dat krijg je er nu van als je de kinderen even uit het oog verliest! Met het feit dat de goede man wraak nam op de burgemeester omdat die zijn financiële afspraken niet nakwam voor het verjagen van de ratten in het stadje, krijgt het verhaal weer een geheel andere lading. Ik maak een tussenstop in Hamelen, gelegen aan de Duitse sprookjesroute en ontdek dat de vertelling daar nog springlevend zijn. Talloze versies van het verhaal doen er de ronde, variërend van een Kinderkruistocht tot herinneringen aan een pestepidemie, van kolonisatie tot cybersecurity.
En ook de ratten zijn weer terug. Volop, in alle soorten en maten: van pluche en keramiek, van chocola of gebrandschilderd in de kerk, als een ware toeristische rattenplaag. Ik zoek de stilte van de Bungelosenstraße, een straat die altijd stil zal blijven. De trom (die Bunge) zal niet meer worden geroerd omdat de kinderen door deze straat werden ontvoerd. Ook vergaap ik mij aan de mooie renaissancehuizen, zo typerend voor dit Weserbergland. Bloei en rijkdom door de graanhandel, maar dus ook ratten, veel ratten…
Een kort bezoekje aan Hameln dit keer, want de eindbestemming vandaag ligt verder naar het oosten, op de Lünenburger Heide, het kuuroord Bad Bevensen. Hotel-Pension Fortuna, het Salzhotel. Ik was er eerder, in de herfst van 2019. De ontvangst was allerhartelijkst, de kamer voelt vertrouwd. Ik kijk uit op de tuin met honderd kleuren groen en vogelconcerten in de bomen. Ook hier in Bad Bevensen veel karakteristieke huizen van donkerbruin vakwerk ingelegd met rode bakstenen. Er valt de komende dagen veel te ontdekken hier rond de heide, zaken die in 2019 zijn blijven liggen. Hier in Fortuna ga ik nog een keer voor mijn meditatief moment in de zoutgrot, languit liggend in de zoute dampen, verkwikkend en heilzaam. De wanden zijn van echte zoutkristallen, ondanks dat die kitscherig zijn uitgelicht. Ik heb eraan gelikt…
En dan langzaam wordt het stiller en stiller. De lucht is dichtgetrokken, opkomend onweer heeft de vogels het zwijgen opgelegd. De bomen staan nog roerloos, alles is in afwachting van wat komen gaat.
